The Calla Lily (Zantedeschia Aethiopica) is a species in the family Araceae.
It is native to Southern Africa: Lesotho, South Africa and Swiziland.
The Calla Lily has become an important symbol of Irish republicans and nationalism since 1926 (Easter lily badge).
It is also the national flower of the island nation of Saint Helena.
Calla Lily symbolize peace, magnificence and beauty. If it is white Calla Lily, it is said that it combines two extra attributes: purity and innocence.
